At the time of the Prophet Muhammad, in the land of Yemen there is a young man named Al-Qorni Uwais. Poor boy who lives with his mother was known to be very pious, on the sidelines busy making a living as a herd of livestock (camels and sheep) owned by someone else he was not negligent care and taking care of his mother. Because there is no longer owned and relatives since childhood he has been orphaned. The only family that still he had was his mother who was elderly and suffered from blindness and deafness.

The wages he received from herding cattle to make only enough to live with his mother, when there is excess often he gave to a neighbor in need. Therefore, even though he was a poor boy but a very loved and respected by his neighbors.

Islamic teachings to educate and teach the morals of the sublime, in a relatively short time gain sympathy and have a lot of adherents in the land of Yemen. Similarly, Al-Qorni Uwais, he has come to know and practice the teachings diligently. The story of the Prophet often he heard from his neighbors, who had visited Medina. At that time, Yemen has many residents who came to Medina to meet the Holy Prophet, they want to receive direct teachings of His Prophet, will further expand their spread once again in his country.

When Uwais Al-Qorni heard the news about the battle of Uhud, the Prophet Muhammad have caused injuries hit rocks and broke his teeth, then he immediately menggetok his teeth with a stone to break. So love Uwais Qorni against Rasululloh PBUH.

Encouragement of love and longing Uwais Al-Qorni against the Prophet made him want to come to Medina to menemuainya. "When will I be visiting the Prophet Muhammad and looked at his face up close" according to his heart. But on the other hand he could not leave his mother for granted. This made her nervous, her mind filled with day-night nostalgic feeling looking at the Prophet's face. Until one day he came close to his mother and tell her guts about the longing to meet the Prophet, and begged to be allowed to go visiting the Prophet Muhammad in Medina.

Hear the petition that her son is touching it-any excuse him: "Go O Uwais anaku, see a prophet in his house, and when it has met with you back home immediately." Hearing what her mother is allowed to go, Uwais a very happy heart. So he immediately packed up and prepared her mother needs to be left behind, while commanding his few immediate neighbors in order to accompany his mother while he went.

After kissing his mother goodbye and then he went to Medina. Journey he traveled on foot by crossing the hills and the vast desert, with nature is a very hard and many disorders, ranging from thieves - the desert heat during the day was like a lake of fire at night was piercing cold to the bone. But this does not feel as strong willingness to meet and see the face of the Prophet who has been loved and missed.

No telling how long the journey which he traveled. Arriving at Madinah Al-Qorni Uwais immediately looking for a house of the Prophet Muhammad. And to find the house of the Prophet is not a difficult job. After being before the door of the house of the Prophet he utters "Assalamu'alaykum" with a solemn and respectful, because there is no immediate answer from the house which was deserted then Uwais greetings repeat multiple times. After waiting a while before there are answers from a woman "wa'alaikum greet" with the woman rushed toward the door to meet Uwais. In front of these women, with respect Uwais told his origins and to the point. The woman, who apparently is Siti Aisyah ra explained that the Prophet want encountered was not there at home and who knows until when he returned. Hearing the explanation, Siti Aisyah ra-Qorni Uwais paused, her heart waver "between wanting to await the arrival of the Prophet or to his mother back home soon". Uwais not one to be swayed by doubt, sense of responsibility to his mother who was so big, so she prefers to go back. And with good manners he soon excused himself to Sitti Aisyah ra to immediately return to Yemen, he just left greetings to the Prophet Muhammad who is very loved.

After the Prophet returned and was at his house, he asked those who seek peace be upon him. Then Sitti A'ishah also tells about the arrival of a young man from the country of Yemen who wanted to meet with the Prophet, but the boy was not willing to wait till the Prophet returned because he could not leave his mother for long. Prophet explains the Uwais Qorni to his Companions: "He is the inhabitants of the sky when you meet him, notice he has a white sign in the middle of his palm." Then the Prophet looked to Ali ra and Umar and said: "Once upon a time, when you meet him, ask for prayer and istighfarnya "----
